Where To Find Styrofoam Recycling Centres Near You

Here at StyroCycle, we are enabling the recycling of expanded polystyrene foam, thereby facilitating a cleaner Australia and a more sustainable polystyrene industry. Now, more than ever, if you search for “styrofoam recycling centres near me”, you’ll find plenty to choose from.

Since we were founded, we have been working hard to establish a reliable polystyrene recycling network with partners like Foamex and Polyfoam, making it easier for private citizens and commercial producers to recycle their expanded polystyrene foam easily.

Let’s look at the range of recycling facilities we have helped establish so far. In addition to three new ones established recently, we have one more opening soon.

Foamex Group South Australia

Foamex Group has several polystyrene recycling facilities, the first of which is in South Australia at 15 Peachey Road in Edinburgh North. This facility is open between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. every day of the week but is closed on weekends.

Foamex Group Somerton

The Foamex Group’s next polystyrene recycling facility is located at 17/21 Freight Drive in Somerton, Victoria. This recycling facility is open between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. every day except on weekends.

Foamex Group Coolaroo

The Foamex Group’s third recycling facility is located at 430 Barry Road in Coolaroo, Victoria. You can drop off your polystyrene products anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. throughout the week. Sadly, it is not open on weekends.

Foamex Group Bayswater North

Located at 31 – 33 Gatwick Road in Bayswater North, Victoria, the Foamex Group’s fourth facility can be accessed between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. every day of the week. If you arrive on the weekends, you will find the facility closed.

Polyfoam Dandenong

Polyfoam has a facility at 11 Brooklyn Avenue in Dandenong, Victoria. This recycling facility is open between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and is closed on weekends.

Polyfoam has opened a new site at 1 Moorebank Avenue in the Mfive Industry Park Building 3B in Moorebank, New South Wales. This new facility is accessible between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. throughout the week, except on Fridays, when it closes early at 12:00 p.m. It is also closed on weekends.

Polyfoam Brisbane

Polyfoam has opened another new site in Brisbane at 44 The Newly Street, Dara, Queensland. This brand-new site operates between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. working days and closed on weekends.

Polyfoam Tasmania

Polyfoam has opened a new polystyrene recycling site in Tasmania. One of the only Tasmanian polystyrene recycling sites to date is located at 113 Cove Hill Road in Bridgewater, Tasmania. This site is open only between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on weekdays. Unfortunately, it is closed over the weekend.

Foamex Group New South Wales

The Foamex Group plans to open a new facility in New South Wales at 31 Mavis Street in Revesby. Its operating hours are not yet available, but will be posted on the StyroCycle website as soon as possible. Stay tuned for more.
