Help keep polystyrene out of landfill
Expanded polystyrene is 100% recyclable. Together we can close the loop and ensure EPS is converted into essential products that are critical to building a sustainable future.

Our Mission
At StyroCycle we are committed to reducing the amount of expanded polystyrene (EPS) waste sent to landfill to ZERO. We plan to do this by increasing awareness and strengthening partnerships at the community level to encourage a circular economy in our production practices.
Our Focus
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is 100% recyclable and can be recycled infinitely. At StyroCycle, our aim is to not just close the loop on polystyrene going to waste. Our aim is to ensure the loop operates effectively and efficiently as a circular economy.
Through the establishment of collection facilities at EPS manufacturing points, local councils, and other businesses across Australia we will collect, compress, and reuse EPS to create products for sustainable building. This closed loop system will benefit our natural resources, minimise waste, lower CO2 emissions and water use. Our goal is to promote the reuse and recovery of products, packaging, and materials without threatening the environment or human health.

The Circular Economy of EPS
1. Clean EPS waste is collected from local community.
- Households and business.
- Transfer stations.
2. Drop off points identified for transportation efficiency.
- Recycling plants.
- Locations close to recycling depots.
3. Waste recycled locally-not shipped overseas.
- Reduction of landfill.
- Reduction in CO2 pollution.
4. Waste is sorted and broken down.
- Providing local jobs.
- Helps Australian economy.
5. Compacted waste turned into pellets.
- Closed loop recycling.
- Environmentally sustainable solution.
6. Pellets formed into sustainable products.
- Thermal insulating panels for residential & commercial buildings.
- Void fill to reduce concrete.
7. Thermally efficient buildings.
